Daniel Gaviria Stanich
Music = Life

Who wouldn’t like to have fancy cars, astonishing girls, amazing parties, recognition all over the world, loads and loads of money (So much of it that you don’t know on what to spend it) and the joy of watching someone enjoying your creation, all of this with only being involved in the music industry.
Certainly, you have to be crazy not to take all of those things. That’s why I would love to be involved in the music industry, however not only because of the fame and the money which nowadays is common. I would adore the fact that I’m implicated somehow with music because I consider myself as a melomaniac. I feel so passionate about music and I enjoy it so much I want it to be part of every aspect in my life, including when I’m happy or sad or while I’m studying, even while I’m showering I don’t feel comfortable if I’m no listening to some house music or some classic rock like The Rolling Stones or some new band I found on Y outube.
I’m aware the music industry structure is very complex and involves a lot of people including artist, fans, record labels, producers, etc. but if I could chose the perfect job for me, it would be as CEO of Domino Records or Ministry of Sound, two of my favorite record labels, especially Domino Records because they are a small record label that only sign groups they love and groups they like to hear, not for the propaganda or the money they can get of them. Furthermore, they have signed groups like Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand and The Kills, groups that in my opinion are amazing.
All in all, the music industry is very fun and makes people happy all over the world all day long, and it’s because of this that Music = Life. How would your day to day life be without great beats and marvelous guitar chords? I simply can’t imagine.
